What Way To See?

If you've been seeing a half empty glass, try seeing a half full glass.
If you see a half closed door, try to see a half opened door.
If you see an impossible, try to see i'm-possible.

Nothing is more powerful than our mind, and with God, all things are POSSIBLE!

I forgot how much I'd loved CBT Green Tea Blended (as shown in picture), Mocha Blended (as shown in picture) and Chicago Cheesecake (NOT shown in picture). We just wanted to spend time together, so we popped in for a sinFULL treat... and I'd commit this sin any time for the some moments with hubby.

Well, I'm only human... I'm prone to sin =P

Prince Of Persia

The movie is personally rated A for many reasons - beauty, plot, zeal - but most importantly, be enticed by the script, both witty and heart-warming.

Above all, see this... A father's influence over his children is very powerful. It has the power to kill or build, it has the power to divide or unite, it has the power to breed hatred or make love.

From King Sharaman:
"A good man would have done as you did, Dastan, acted boldly and courageously to bring a victory and spare life, but a great man would have stopped the attack from happening at all. A great man would have stopped, if he know it to be wrong, no matter who was ordering it. The boy I saw in that square was capable of being more than just good, but of being great."

For one who has always longed for fatherly counsel, it was written in Isaiah 9:6 that His Name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. And in Romans 8:37, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Each and every one of us is capable of being more, because we are more than conquerors. So, if you're passing through feeling discouraged by negative comments from a friend, a colleague, your boss, your spouse or your parents... know that you are capable of being more than just good, you are capable of being great. Don't let anyone kill your hope and steal your dreams.

Happy living to the fullest!

Times Are Changing

Mama used to (and she still would) buy me everything and anything that I want.

I still remember my many firsts... 'mini' cheongsam, lacey hairband, gold bracelet, Snow White and The Jungle Book video tapes, 3-in-1 fairytale storybook, Barbie Boll (with dresses and underwear sewn by mum), Playdoh, watch, bag, 42-piece colour pencils, boots, boyfriend, handphone, DVD from pasar malam, computer, laptop.

I remembered when they won the lottery for my NRIC number. Papa and Mama bought me my first Walkman, and for the family, a hi-fi set. That was the year we had our first family car - Proton Wira, paid full in cash.

Today, it's my honour and blessing to be able to give back to them and buy them (mostly) whatever they want. The thing is, parents are so modest. They let you buy them things, but they'd choose the cheapest. They don't demand much, because in the end of the day, parents just want us to be good and happy. That's their mission in bringing us up.

Thank you, Papa and Mama! Love you so very much!

This year, Mama chose this for Mothers' Day

Papa, yours is coming soon =)
